London: Alexander Mcqueen dead: Alexander Mcqueen cause of death & Alexander Mcqueen designs. The reigning star of British fashion design, Alexander McQueen has died. Forty year old outstanding and as well controversial fashion designer was found dead at his London home.
A British police spokesman said that there is nothing suspicious about his death. While press representatives of KCD Worldwide raised doubts of a suicide. McQueen, four time British Fashion Designer of the Year has been a quiet and shy, yet brilliant and intelligent with his distinctive style in the industry. Always he kept a distance from media craze, thus declined requests for interviews.Being a designer, it is notable that he was not only a technical expert, but also a creative genius. But, he also appeared to be a controversial figure for defying the notions of beauty and ugliness in his style of designing.
McQueen depicted models as witches, rape victims and metal patients making fury among his criticizers. "A gifted iconoclast, who could just as easily be creating art as fashion," it was the response of Mimi Avins, former Times fashion editor when he saw McQueen's design for the first time in 1996. In 1996, after being declared to be the years' British fashion designer, McQueen moved to Paris, where he later concentrated his designing saga. It was reported that suicide of his best friend and eccentric stylist Isabella Blow had hugely hit McQueen. His death came days after the death of his mother Joyce's on 2nd Feb.
