Ashanti performs "Shine" on Good Morning NY
I've been wondering what happened to Ashanti, I mean her album "The Declaration" hit streets then after that no kind of promotion. I think that "The Declaration" is one of Ashanti's best albums to date in my opinion. In this clip she performs "Shine" a track off the album which is now part of the soundtrack for Will Smith's new film "Seven Pounds" in theaters NOW!

Rockin Some Of My Birthday Gear + My New Vans,Ice Creams, & Converse Kickz!
Well I was suprised I got some really dope gifts this year for my Birthday! I was bored so i wanted to post some of the pics of the new gear i'm rockin. I got some new Vans, BBC Ice Creams, & Converse Kicks, An Evisu trucker hat and Ed Hardy cap. I love vintage tees my sister got me this dope "Bob Marley" t-shirt and i got a few others, a lot of the styles i'm into are politically, enviromently, of musically driven, But I mos definately try and stand apart from the rest. I also got a GAP and vintage Yves Saint Laurent trench coat. Plus my mom and sister took me out to dinner and this fly restaraunt named "La Cheavel". To top it off I got a bundle of new movies and cds, So i can't complain! You know what that means though i'm getting socks & stocking stuffers for Christmas! =P j/k Saturday, December 20, 2008

I guess this premiered December 1st, I'm mad that i never got to see it! I'm so glad we have the internet haha. My only issue with Britney is that she never sings live at all. I'm not hating,Because I think she is an awesome dancer & entertainer. Hopefully as time goes on during the promotion of this new album she builds more confidence to sing live & dance harder like she used to. I mean you can see the passion coming back, but you can tell she is kind of making sure not to make mistakes and taking baby steps.
The media really messed up her confidence i feel for her. I watched "Britney:For The Record" and it really gives you a more up-close on who she really is as a person. I think a lot of people pre judge her too quickly. I haven't been one of her biggest fans, but i do admire her strength to even step back on the scene.

There are many more performance's once i find the rest i'll post them for you to watch! I got to be honest i think that everyone did a good job in their own realm of musical performances, But it was a big snooze-fest until Beyonce and everyone else after her took the stage. I mean the show started off kind of cool, Christina opened the show on a cool note, Then New Kids On The Block were kind of "eh" i was expecting more from them. Pink did good i was expecting "So What" though i mean it's an awards show. I think Leona did a great job, Taylor Swift was good,but that's right about when i started falling asleep, Ne-Yo he hardly was singing and i was mad at that, the girl dancing in the red dress was a little more entertaining then him (not hatin, I'm the biggest Ne-Yo fan!)... Natasha Bedingfield was pretty good, I really enjoyed the medley.
It was a good night for Miley she woke me up a little bit,Coldplay & The Fray was off the hook, Mariah is a classic she did very well, Then Beyonce came out and taught everyone how it's done she didn't need a big stage set up and had everyone on their feet, The Jonas Brothers were ok not bad at all, Pussycat Dolls were sexy as ever,but performance was a little rusty, the wardrobe malfunction with the jackets threw them off big time! (<---Had to fix what i said after watching it again), Kanye was off the chain literally the man can do no wrong in a performance, Rihanna dazzled the stage with her performance, and then Sarah & Pink performed a duet that was classic, & Alicia Keys closed the show with special guest Queen Latifah & A Opera singer that just ripped the stage it was off the hook!
