Hey Ladies & Gents:

It's ya boy Kaleo here, Well It's been awhile since I've posted any personal entries , But I just wanted to Thank You all for visiting the site. I'll continue to update it with new music and any music news i recieve as i see it. I also wanted to get to know all of you a little better so I'm going to be opening a new myspace account for "Kaleo's Music Boom Box". I get sort of busy sometime, but music in a whole is my first love so I will keep my page up for as long as i can. I hope you all keep supporting the site & much love!!

Im currently working on putting my first album together. I've been writing constently, listening to tracks on tracks, and just trying to put something really dope together, It's a work in progress. This blog has been a pretty good outlet for me to promote my music and other artist i respect. The love has been overwhelming and very much appreciated.

There are so many things im into, I love art of all kinds; music, fashion,graphics, & interior design, graffiti and photography. I tend to dabble in a lot of things when it come to art. I'm just starting to get into painting again it really helps me to free my head of worldy stresses. I do work a regular 9-5 during the week and do photography and graphic design work as a freelance artist whenever the oppurtunity presents itself to me. So if you all are local and need somethin holla at me i got you. I do charge fees for my artwork depending on how it's used. The fee isn't too bad though I'll work with anyone depending on what they can afford.

I'm really into promoting positivity into anything i do as much as possible, but im very outspoken most of the time. If i offend anyone in anyway don't take it personally, I won't back down if it's something i believe in either , so I hope that gives you all a little more info on what kind of person I am. Hmmm i won't say too much about this song, or atleast try not to. Im sure you all remember Antonella Barba and the big controversy that surrounded her on American Idol over some pictures that where on her myspace or something like that. Well we have here a new song called "Playing Games" by Antonella Barba ft. Paul Kim. Paul Kim was also a contestant in the same season. I actually think he has a pretty decent voice and i met him once before AI. He was in a local r&b group named 'Repatua' in my hometown area 'The SF Bay Area" and I used to be in a group called 'Indulge' and they came to my house to have a little jam session with us one night. I know that he can really sing well, well check it out and tell me what you think. I think that there could of been more input and effort on her part. Im not hatin im just saying from a fellow vocalists opinion you gotta bring it. I'll wait to see what else she comes with before i go into full throttle haha. Paul Kim is dope no doubt.

Have you heard the supposed 'If I Were A Boy' demo??

Well im not sure if this is the official demo sample of the highly anticipated 1st. single by Beyonce, but this is what's been floating around the net. I guess we'll all have to wait and see, if it is it might be cool seeing Beyonce trying something new. Im sure when Beyonce gets the track they are going to flip up alot. I like this tune tho, check it out ok?! I don't see it matching the music video stills we've all seen so i don't know. It's still a great song probably just has the same title it's by an artist named BC Jean.

Im sure you all remember Ms. Taral Hicks she came out with her debut album 'Taral - This Time' in the early 90's and spawned 2 hit tracks 'Distant Lover' & 'Silly' off that album. She had a pretty short music career, but deserved to make it big she has a beautiful voice i think. She continued on as an actress as seen in movies such as 'Belly' and 'Bronx Tale' 2 really great movies you gotta check out and in many other films. Above is the video for the track 'Silly' by Taral originally performed by r&b legend Deniece Williams.

I just got through listening to this "Album Sampler" and im not really feeling how they arranged the music set together. Granted this is just a bundle of short clips I think that they recycled a lot of the songs meant for Nicole's solo project. The songs i noticed from the 'Her Name Is Nicole' project are 'Who's Gonna Love You', 'Baby Love', & Happily Never After' all with brand new added vocals. I can't wait to hear the official album set maybe my mind will change after i hear all of them in full. I love 'When I Grow Up', Take Over The World', 'Elevator', & 'Hush, Hush' so far 'I Hate This Part Right Here' reminds me of 'Power's Out' Nicoles duet with Sting. I don't know, Take a listen and tell me what you think ok?!

Music News Update: Beyonce's 2 Singles Revealed & Other Info etc..

Well after lastnight's 'Fashion Rocks 2008 Concert' all the speculations of Beyonce debuting her brand new single 'If I Were A Boy' was obviously incorrect. So sorry if any of my entries got you hyped i just had a bad source of information i guess. (=P)

According to the awesome blog 'ThatGrapeJuice.net' it seems that it has in fact been confirmed that 2 new single will be dropping in October. Beyonce is releasing 2 singles to radio on October 7th 2008 called 'If I Were A Boy' & 'Single Ladies'. So i guess we'll all just have to wait & see what is to come.

She did a great job lastnight at 'Fashion Rocks' and im sure her new single will be dope fo sho. She always seems to bring some bangaz so im not doubting it will be something fly.

No official album title has been released yet so as far as that we need to wait also. I've seen alot of people thinking it's going to be called 'Virtuoso Intellect', B'ware, or even 'Queen B' all good titles, But honestly we can't say anything until the record company drops the real info. I kind of like 'Queen B' i got a whole concept in my head buzzin' already.

I mean it would be a good name considering that this will be her final studio album right?.It's like going out with a bang you know, leaving the scene telling everyone that "Hey im Queen & Don't forget it" haha you know, Bring out the Sasha.
